Hello Folks -
Often, when promoting our brands and services, strategies
tend to focus on brand image, features and/or benefits. We
sometimes forget one of the most important strategies in the
branding process -- delivering on the brand or product promise.
Today's article from Phillip Davis -- Your Brand is Your Promise
(What are you promising?) -- will help each of us figure out
just what our brand promise is and how to keep that promise.
I've also added a new section to WebSiteMarketingPlan.com,
filled with small business marketing, planning and management
articles. There are articles with business management tips;
budgeting and costs; marketing and competition; and effective
advertising. Please take a moment to browse:

Enjoy!

P.S. "Marketing Strategy Thoughts" is the blog where I
(sporadically) post marketing/management-related thoughts
throughout the month:

Your Brand Is Your Promise! (What are you
promising?) |
|
http://www.websitemarketingplan.com/smallbusiness/promise.htm
When people mention the word "brand" they usually
mean a well-known, well-defined company that's done
an excellent job in crafting an image and sticking
with it. Buyers know what to expect from these
companies, and as long as these companies meet that
expectation, they will continue to imprint their
brand in the minds of their audience. It's pretty
simple really; if you just keep in mind the two
principals detailed in the article.

http://www.websitemarketingplan.com/smallbusiness/marketing.htm Once you decide upon a particular marketing
program, you are likely eager to take action. Before
implementing a program, however, there are some
precautions you should take. The article explains.
