Improving Website success
Website Marketing Plan News, March 13, 2003
Whew…I finally got this edition out! The weather has been spring-like here (A rare condition around St. Louis, MO.), putting a damper on productivity.
My feature article, “How To Measure and Improve Site Success“, is the first article in a two part series. This first article shows how planning and evaluating your online marketing programs can help you improve site success.
Combining Classroom Theory and Real World “Reality”…
I received a chastising email a couple of weeks ago telling me I am full of bunk and should “open a text book”. It seems the sender was offended that a particular piece was not a simple regurgitation of previously existing material.
To that I say…”wonderful!” My intent is to merge my real world experience and classroom knowledge into unique bits of information you will find useful in the real world. I’m here to give you ideas about improving your marketing techniques (i.e. Improve your profit.), *not* ace “Marketing 101″.
While this fellow failed to convince me that I am full of “bunk”, his comment did make me stop and think about how others may perceive some of my writing. A times, it is not clear when I am communicating my own interpretations. Soooo…from here on out, when I get wild and diverge from rote “text book” knowledge, I’ll be sure to mention it. ![]()
