How To Write SEO Articles
The practice of butchering articles and text for search engine optimization purposes (regardless of readability or even sensibility) has been really bothering me lately. So, when I saw Karon Thackston’s latest SEO copywriting piece, I had to celebrate a bit. Her article — inspired by a recent Matt Cutts blog post — is about how to do it right by putting readers first.
“…the purpose of writing SEO articles is threefold not onefold: provide information, rank high when used on your site and increase link popularity. That means the practice must follow the purpose.”

Hi Bobette. Matt hits the nail right on the head with his remarks about the importance of good content. Unfortunately, too many webmasters have realized that ANY content that is rich in the right keywords will get you traffic.
Along the way most forget about providing a valuable user experience, and then they wonder why their conversions are so low! Good copy might not be as important as it once was in achieving those search engine rankings, but if you really want to make money online you have to give people something good to read.

Someone has rightly commented that too many website owners and SEO experts now know the importance of keyword rich content. I would nevertheless like to point out that although this is the case, you will be surprised to see how so few website owners actually follow it on a regular basis. Initial success in search engine optimisation is certainly possible with techniques such as meta tags, press releases, keyword density , etc. However in the long run ultimately having quality content and regularly on your own website as well as others(article publishing) is almost essential if you want to succeed in the long run.
