Vote: Super Bowl Commercials 2009

Just received notice that once again you will be able to vote for your favorite Super Bowl commercials online. CBS will be airing their 2009 installment of “Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials” on January 31st, 8:00 pm Eastern time (Day before Super Bowl XLIII) and winners will be determined by us.

This year’s top 10 of all time feature a mix of classic and new commercials. They are (in MY particular order, heavily weighted for personal entertainment value ;-) ):

1. EDS Cat Herders. You have to be a cat owner to really appreciate this one. lol!

2. Budweiser ‘Lamb Streaker’. Makes me chuckle every time I watch it.

3. Hank makes Team Clydesdale, thanks to his dalmation coach (and “Rocky” background music for motivation).

4. The ultimate classic: Coca-Cola ‘Mean Joe Greene.’ There’s something about this commercial. I still remember seeing it for the first time 29 (?) years ago.

5. FedEx “stick” package and the prehistoric firing. This is EXACTLY why I’m now my own boss.

6. E*Trade’s Burping Baby. I must admit I like the clown version better and find this one a little disgusting. Going to be a first-time Grandma in August, so guess I’d better get used to those burps!

7. CareerBuilder.com’s “Celebration”. Sadly, this is a little too much like some organizations.

8. Tide’s “Talking Stain Interview.” Annoying, but effective.

9. Tied for 10th (as in I’m not even remotely amused)”

Budweiser “Ref Tune Out”. Annoying AND irritating.

Bud Light’s “Worst Nightmare”. Insulting.

The special will be hosted by Jim Nantz, Lead Play-by-Play Announcer of THE NFL ON CBS, and co-hosted by Daisy Fuentes. You can vote for your favorites at http://www.cbs.com/collections/superbowl HD pink panther 2 download
